Prerequisite:  This session is recommended for personnel with Airfield Maintenance experience and/or AMSCR Experience.

Course Description:

The session will refresh knowledge of current winter reporting requirements, detail the changes that are effective for the winter of 2020/2021 and provide a cursory introduction to GRF reporting protocols effective late next year

Discussions will include:
  ♦ Review of current runway, taxiway and apron winter condition inspection and reporting procedures, including friction measurement, based on TTS/IAAE’s current wAMSCR course.
  ♦ Detailed review of changes to wAMSCR procedures, including friction measurement, required by Amendments to the Aeronautics Act effective May 2020 and required this winter.
  ♦ Overview of GRF reporting requirements and procedures that will be effective as of August 2021
  ♦ Questions and Answers
