IAAE Canada's premier and industry recognized Accreditation Academy is an annual event, not to be missed by those looking to earn the internationally recognized A.A.E. or A.A.P. This course has sold out in recent years. We are holding two in 2019 to increase the opportunity for our Members

This week-long course provides an intensive review of the Body of Knowledge modules, and an opportunity to complete the multiple-choice exam at the end of the training. Completion of the Accreditation Academy and a successful passing grade of the onsite exam, will result in the Certified Member (C.M) designation.

TP312 5th Edition – Red Deer  Jun 10-12  - Red Deer Regional Airport

Through a combination of instruction, discussion and group exercises participants will develop a working knowledge of Canadian aerodrome standards and recommended practices as well as the related regulatory requirements.
Actual issues will be shared and combined with practical scenarios. Independent open book exercises will be combined with group exercises to develop solutions for increasingly complex problems.
Participants will depart with an understanding of what is required to attain and maintain airport certification.

(BAWOS) Basic Airport Winter Operations Specialist - August 12-13 - Pearson International Airport

The Basic Airport Winter Operations (Snow Academy - Canadian Edition) course educates airport employees, including snowplow and airport equipment operators on how to utilize best practices while performing snow and ice control measures at airports during winter operations.

Objectives: • Airport Winter Safety and Operations • Material Resource Applications • Communication Module • Current Equipment Designs • Weather Forecasting • Human Resource Factors • Current Regulatory Requirements

The IAAEC Training Committee are looking for people with knowledge, background and interest is serving on 2 sub-committees.  Each of these sub-committees will be examining proposals for the creation of 2 new courses:  A Professional Drivers and an Advanced Fueling course.
