2023 FOAM Conference Speakers

Founded in 1994, the International Association of Airport Executives Canada (IAAE Canada) serves the management and operations staff at over 300 airports across Canada. Our programs speak to the challenges of managing small, medium and large airports in Canada.

Our 14th Annual Facilities, Operation and Airport Managers Conference (F.O.A.M) will take place from May 29-31, 2023 in Waterloo, ON. Our theme is: RECONNECT - REFRESH - REFOCUS. This conference is an excellent opportunity to share information with your peers in the industry, and we invite you to take part in shaping our 2023 agenda through your participation as a speaker.

We have identified some potential topics, including; Electric Aircraft - the cost and investment, Financial Planning post-COVID, Updating Master Plans post-COVID, Staffing |Recruitment - issues and employee retention, Drones within the vicinity of Airport, Drone use as a benefit to an airport, Threat Risk Assessments - how to de-escalate an issue without on-site law enforcement? and Airport PFOS Contamination - How are Airports transitioning over to fluorine-free foams.

Participating as a speaker is open to all. To participate as a speaker in the 2023 FOAM Conference, please respond with the topic you are interested in presenting by Friday, January 13, 2023.
